Arthur Taylor received his early art training at the Museum School of Arts in Boston. Graduating from the Vesper George School of Art in Boston he then became a freelance illustrator in Boston until he moved to New York to work and attend the Art Students League.
Arthur packed up his New York Studio in 1970 and moved to Maine to be closer to good fly fishing and his favorite subjects, the Atlantic Salmon and its environment.
